"Leave it to Gog" Picture Week (Nov. 6, 1955)



"Gog" is a science fiction film directed by Herbert L. Strock and released in 1954 by United Artists. It is notable for having been shot in both color and 3-D. It stars Richard Egan, Constance Dowling, and Herbert Marshall. "Gog" and "Magog" are beasts from the Revelations Chapter of the New Testament.

KORLA PANDIT (1921-1998)

BELOVED HUSBAND OF BERYL PANDIT

BELOVED FATHER OF SHARI AND KORAM JOHN PANDIT

Korla Pandit (nee John Roland Redd, aka Juan Rolando), age 77, passed away in Petaluma Valley Hospital, Petaluma, CA, of myocardial infarction/coronary disease on October 2, 1998.

Korla Pandit was born to Doshia and Ernest Redd in St. Louis, MO, September 16, 1921. There were Family prayers, but no formal services were held. Korla's remains were cremated and returned to his Family. Korla Pandit was beloved husband of Beryl June DeBeeson Pandit, beloved father of Shari Pandit and Koram John Pandit.

Korla Pandit pioneered early television with Klaus Landsberg/KTLA-TV and Louis Snader Telescriptions with his organ and piano all-music show. He was responsible for several innovations in keyboard and organ playing techniques and was the first musician ever to play these two instruments at the same time. He left an enormous body of work behind for his fans to treasure. He was truly the Godfather of Exotica.
